Subscription Policy

1. Overview

BarbuxBarter operates on a simple, transparent pricing model: $0 monthly subscription and a 5% transaction fee on completed trades — charged only to the seller's card. This Subscription Policy explains our fee structure, payment terms, and related policies.

2. No Monthly Subscription Fee

BarbuxBarter does not charge a monthly, annual, or recurring subscription fee. Membership is completely free. There are no:

• Monthly membership fees
• Annual subscription charges
• Setup or onboarding fees
• Listing fees for services
• Browsing or access fees
• Cancellation or termination fees

You can join, list services, browse the marketplace, and connect with other members at no cost.

3. Transaction Fee

Fee Structure

BarbuxBarter charges a 5% cash transaction fee on all completed trades. This fee is charged to the seller's card only— buyers pay no additional cash fee. The fee is calculated based on the barbux credits value of the transaction.

Example: If you (as the seller) complete a trade worth 1,000 barbux credits, a $50 fee (5% of $1,000) is charged to your card. The buyer receives the service and pays nothing extra.

When the Fee Is Charged

The transaction fee is charged only when:

• A trade is successfully completed
• Both parties record the transaction on the platform
• barbux credits are transferred between accounts

You are never charged for browsing, listing, or connecting with other members. The fee applies only to finalized transactions.

Who Pays the Fee

The 5% transaction fee is charged only to the seller. When a trade completes, the seller's saved card is automatically charged the fee. Buyers pay no cash out-of-pocket — they only spend barbux credits for the trade value itself.

4. Payment Methods

Transaction fees can be paid via:

• Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
• Debit card
• ACH bank transfer

Payment is processed securely through our payment partner. We do not store your full payment information on our servers.

5. Fee Changes

BarbuxBarter reserves the right to modify the transaction fee structure. If we make changes, we will:

• Provide 30 days' advance notice to all active members
• Send notification via email and platform announcement
• Allow members to complete pending transactions at the old rate

Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new fee structure.

6. Refund Policy

Transaction fees are non-refundable once a trade is completed and recorded. However, if:

• A transaction is reversed due to a valid dispute
• A technical error causes duplicate charges
• BarbuxBarter determines the fee was charged in error

We will issue a refund within 5–7 business days.

7. Free barbux credits

All approved businesses receive 1000 free Barbux credits upon account activation. These credits:

• Are added to your account immediately upon approval
• Can be used to purchase services from other members
• Never expire
• Are subject to the same 5% transaction fee (charged to the seller's card) when used in a trade

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at info@barbuxbarter.com within 30 days of the charge. Include:

• Transaction ID and date
• Description of the issue
• Supporting documentation

We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

9. Taxes

Transaction fees do not include applicable sales tax, VAT, or other taxes. If required by law, taxes will be added to the transaction fee and itemized on your receipt.
